1946 marked a significant step forward for funeral services in the Philippines as La Funeraria Paz introduced the country’s first motorized hearse, modernizing funeral transportation. Marking another advancement in Philippine funeral services, the company introduced the first metal caskets in the 1950s, offering a more durable and higher quality option for memorialization. Expanding its operations in 1971, La Funeraria Paz opened a new branch on Araneta Avenue in Quezon City to meet the area’s increasing demand. Then in 1992, the Quezon City branch underwent renovations to enhance its facilities and appearance. Two years later, in 1994, the company extended its reach by opening a new branch in Baguio City.
